In this guided acrylic, Paint your Pet experience, Loren will support you step-by-step to create a realistic, soulful painting of your animal - no matter your starting level.

All you need is a high quality photo of your pet (printing available on arrival) and you’ll leave with a finished painting and a deeper confidence in your artistic ability.

FAQ's
What Materials do I need to Bring
If you purchase the materials inclusive option all basic materials are provided (canvas & photocopies are additional and fair usage on materials applies). No Materials is a tutoring only option where you bring your own art materials. You may also want to bring an apron or wear clothes that can get messy.
Is previous art experience required to participate?
No prior experience is necessary. Our workshops cater to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists.
Are the workshops suitable for all skill levels?
Yes, our workshops are designed to accommodate participants of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced artists as well as those in education. Loren has 20+ years experience as a professional artist, 10+ years as a qualified KS5 teacher and commercial knowledge of what sells from experience as a gallery owner and former sales manager for an art publisher.
Can children attend without adult supervision?
Yes, that said workshops may require adult supervision for younger participants below ages 8 or those with more 1:1 learning needs. Please check with the workshop leader if you need more information.
Is there a minimum or maximum age limit for participants?
Age limits start at aged 8 if students are to be left unattended with the workshop leader, feel free to get in touch if you would like to attend with younger students but they will require an adult to supervise. To attend all students; of any age require being confident and fit to move around safely and steadily to get their paints/ palettes/ refreshments/ toilet independently or where this isn’t possible bring with them an assistant to assure their safely.
How long do the workshops last?
We offer flexi finish workshops meaning you can attend for either 2 or 3 hours. Clean up starts 10 minutes before the end of session to ensure the session finishes on time.
What can I expect from a workshop? Are the workshops structured or more free-flow?
Our workshops are tailored to students requirements. Students come with a desire to learn a certain media or paint a certain image. If you have no idea what to paint there are 100’s of images on site where Loren will advise most suitable media for specific images or tailor teaching for all individual students desired learning outcomes. This is not a class with a still life every one paints, it is totally bespoke to each individual.
Is hospitality included?
All hospitality is self serve with a large hot and cold drink selection and individually packaged biscuits available (fair usage applies) NB Biscuits contain Gluten. Alternative milk options are Oat Milk. If you have severe allergies it is the responsibility of the student to manage consumption of hospitality or to bring own refreshments. All hospitality is to be consumed within a session. Anything taken at the end of the session will be charged.
